teaching

Education, approached thoughtfully, has the power to liberate and inspire.

approach

At UC San Diego I have served as both a Teaching Assistant and an Associate Instructor, and my work in the classroom was recognized with the Summer Graduate Teaching Scholars award and fellowship. I care about active learning, structured discussion, and giving students scaffolded practice with scientific writing and argumentation.
